What is Con Brio?

Con Brio is a natural product based on two essential oils: eucalyptus and peppermint in combination with the organic matter from the peppermint menthol. This combination is combined in a water-soluble formulation that can be used both by water and by spraying.

What does Con Brio do?

1,8Cineol (the active substance in eucalyptus oil) and menthol (from the peppermint plant) have been known for decades because of the lightening effect on breathing. Both essential oils have a broad antimicrobial effect that has been extensively tested in various scientific studies. During an airway inflammation, mucus is produced by the cells in the anterior airways. This mucus can cause shortness of breath due to its blocking effect. The effect of 1,8cineol is, in addition to its antimicrobial action, based on the reduction of this mucus layer in the airways in three ways; by reducing the underlying inflammation, by stimulating the cilia that remove the mucus and finally by reducing the production of the mucus. Menthol is one of the most commonly used products to relieve symptoms in a cold. This is due to the soothing and cooling effect on the throat and because menthol gives the feeling of a freer breathing. Higher (outside) temperatures and a 'dusty' environment complicate the breathing of your bird. The addition of Con Brio to the drinking water contributes to an improved breathing of your bird.

How to dose?

Add to drinking water: 10 ml of Con Brio per 1 liter of water for 1 to 4 days. Or 15 drops per drinking bowl. Mix the required amount of Con Brio with lukewarm water (maximum 40 ° C). The diluted Con Brio can be dosed to the water for 24 hours, for 1 to 4 days. Preventive Con Brio can be used continuously, we advise to administer this 4 days a week.
